Bravery

There's a space - a space that exists just before we make a big step, a decision, an action. It's a place where fear lives. The doubt sets in. It's where we start to freeze and not do something - not because we don't care but because we care too much.

This is even more evident with our dreams. What if I fail? What if I'm not perfect? What if I'm not good enough? What if I realize that I can't reach the dream?

It is easy to live in this place. It's comfortable. If you don't dare, you can't fail.

I've been there. A lot. Then one day, I realized that fear doesn't always disappear. But courage doesn't wait for comfort. Being brave isn't about being fearless, it's about being brave enough to begin.

So I decided to be brave...

For me, bravery doesn’t come with a soundtrack or spotlight. It’s quieter. It’s waking up and doing the hard thing—even when no one’s watching.

It’s writing the first sentence when I’m sure it’ll be terrible.
It’s reaching out for help when I’d rather struggle alone.
It’s choosing progress over perfection—every single time.

It's writing a novel (two novels) - and sending them to others to be read.

I decided to dream big.

What are you big dreams? Be brave and put them into words and actions.
